I don’t have a recipe but I normally buy Morningstar Prime Grillers veggie burger (green box, red label). They’re awesome!

My wife had one that used garbanzo beans that McCartney’s first wife used and it was delicious. We used to gril them and everything. I am not a fan of the veggie burgers you buy at a store because I don’t trust what they put in it. Even my kids like these.
1 (16 ounce) package dry chickpeas
1 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon dried thyme
salt and pepper to taste
2 1/2 cups dry bread cubes
2 eggs, beaten
4 tablespoons vegetable oil

Mash beans in a medium bowl with a potato masher or fork. Stir in remaining
burger ingredients until well blended. Form into 4 patties.
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Sauté patties 3 to 4 minutes

Mix ingredients in a small bowl. Serve the burgers on buns with lettuce,
